The Reprocess Requests and load summary table option recalculates and reloads the summary table metrics that populate the Dashboard, Usage Dashboard, and Adoption Dashboard.
Use this option when you need to update historical data for reporting, for example:
- New metrics: When new metrics are introduced to the system, you might need to reprocess past requests to calculate and include these new data points in your reports.
- Data corrections: If you identify errors in existing data, you can use reprocessing requests to fix and update the values.
- System updates: After significant changes in data handling, reprocessing helps keep data accurate and consistent.
To recalculate the summary table, follow these steps:
- Go to Console and select SUPERADMIN OPTION > System > Metadata > Request utils > Reprocess Requests and load summary table.
- Choose the metrics to load:
- Load all measures: recalculates and loads all available metrics into the summary table.
- Load some measures: recalculates and loads only the selected metrics.
To select a measure, select the checkbox next to its name.
- Choose the date range to process:
- Load all available dates: Processes all requests.
- Load a specific period: Processes only requests within a defined date range.
When you select Load a specific period, set From and To to define the range. If you leave From empty, the process starts from the earliest available date. If you leave To empty, the process runs until the latest available date.
- Click on REPROCESS REQUESTS (SUBMIT). When the confirmation message appears, confirm the action.
- To monitor progress and results, go to System > Operation Logs.
After the process completes, the summary table and the related Dashboards display the updated data.
