The Lab is Globant Enterprise AI's unified platform for defining, configuring, and testing intelligent components. It simplifies and accelerates the adoption of Artificial Intelligence by centralizing key features in one place.
Within The Lab, you can create and manage components such as:
- Agents, generated with assistance from Iris, manually, or imported from a LabPackage file that bundles the Agent and its required resources.
- Agentic Processes manage how Agents collaborate. They link calls to Tools and involve human input when needed.
- Tools, APIs that Agents can invoke during execution.
- Flows, conversational solutions that include Assistants and Agents. They can be exposed through Teams, Slack, WhatsApp, among others.
Each component can be configured in detail. For Agents, among other options, you can set:
- The specific tasks to be performed by the Agent.
- The most appropriate AI Model for the Agent.
- The Reasoning Strategies to be used by the Agent.
A read-only, automatically generated JSON view is available to inspect the complete definition of your Agents and Tools.
The Lab also includes a chat feature that allows you to test and validate both Agents and Agentic Processes in real time.
After creating and validating your Agent, you can publish it to the Workspace, making it available for others to use. This enables Agents to automate tasks efficiently and supports agile, collaborative, and forward-thinking work dynamics.
