The Reasoning Strategy section allows you to create, upload, and manage custom Reasoning Strategies that define how Agents analyze data, make decisions, or generate responses.

Reasoning Strategy is located within The Lab Options in the Console Menu.

TheLabSection-ReasoningStrategy

This section is divided into two main areas:

  • Upload Reasoning Strategies: Lets you import external strategies by entering a Source URL and clicking on Upload. This option is useful when you have pre-defined reasoning logic stored externally that you want to make available within the platform.

  • Reasoning Strategies: Displays a list of all available strategies. For each one, you can view details such as Name, Public Name, Type, Access Scope, and Status. You can also filter the list by Strategy Name using the search bar at the top.

To create a new strategy, click on Create New, which opens the Reasoning Strategy Information form.

In this form, you can define:

  • Name: The internal name of the reasoning strategy.
  • Public Name: The name displayed when shared or referenced in other components.
  • Type: The reasoning category, such as meta Prompting.
  • Max Outputs: The maximum number of outputs the strategy can produce.
  • Access Scope: Determines whether the strategy is public or private.
  • Description: A short explanation of the strategy’s purpose or logic.
  • System Prompt: The base instructions or framework that guide the Agent’s reasoning.
  • Prompt Template: Defines the specific prompt structure the Agent will follow when applying the reasoning strategy.

Once the configuration is complete, click on Confirm to save the strategy or Cancel to discard changes.
