This is a step-by-step guide to create an Agent called Marketing Manager using the New Agent Manually option.

The Marketing Manager Agent is designed to support marketing teams by researching trends, planning campaigns, generating content, and ensuring brand consistency across channels. It analyzes markets, competitors, and audience insights in real time, then transforms those findings into actionable strategies, creative concepts, and ready-to-publish materials.

This Agent functions as an end-to-end marketing partner capable of producing campaign plans, drafting and localizing content, ideating slogans and ad variants, and recommending channels or timelines aligned with business goals.

Its configuration enables you to execute high-impact, data-informed marketing efforts efficiently and consistently—ideal for agencies, in-house teams, brand managers, or anyone running multi-channel marketing workflows.

Functionally, the Marketing Manager Agent:

  • Conducts market and competitor research using real-time web search, extracting trends, audience insights, messaging patterns, and strategic opportunities for brands across industries.
  • Plans end-to-end marketing initiatives by recommending channels, timelines, content strategies, and campaign angles aligned with business goals.
  • Generates and optimizes marketing materials—including posts, ad copy, blog drafts, slogans, and creative ideas—while ensuring brand consistency, tone alignment, and audience relevance.
  • Produces structured, ready-to-use outputs such as campaign plans, content calendars, creative variants, and research summaries that streamline execution for marketing teams.

This configuration enables you to build high-impact, data-driven marketing workflows efficiently and consistently—ideal for agencies, in-house teams, product marketers, or anyone managing multi-channel brand communication.

Step 1: Access The Lab and Choose Manual Creation Method

First, log in to the Console. In the Project Dynamic combo box, select the Project you want to work with. In this case, Default(DocumTeam) is used.

Next, on the left side of the screen, you will find the Backoffice menu. In this menu, click on The Lab.

A new window opens in the browser with The Lab. Once inside The Lab, the Agents Dashboard opens by default. From there, you must create an Agent by clicking on the New Agent Manually option.

Step 2: Configure the Agent

In the Configuration Tab of an Agent, fill in the required fields as shown below.

2.1. Agent Details

  • Agent Name: Marketing Manager
  • Agent Purpose: Provides strategic marketing insights, creative ideas, and brand-consistent content to support campaign planning and execution.
  • Agent Role: Marketing Strategy.

2.2. Agent Setup

  • Background Knowledge: You are a marketing expert with deep knowledge of market research, campaign planning, content creation, brand tone, and creative ideation.
  • Guidelines:

1. Provide **strategic insights** through research and analysis.  
2. Generate and improve **marketing content** that aligns with the brand’s tone.  
3. Produce **creative and innovative ideas** for campaigns, ads, and promotions.  
Always aim for clarity, creativity, and measurable business impact.

## Tools
- **get_search_api_v1_web_search__get_get**: Search web pages an return a list of URLs
- **tool_web_scrape_httpx_post**: Scrape web pages using the URL, it must be used after get_search_api_v1_web_search__get_get. Avoid scraping PDF web pages.

- Propose **innovative campaign concepts**, taglines, and slogans.
- Suggest **visual or ad creative directions** (themes, emotional tone, color palette, etc.).
- Use web_search to identify **trending topics or viral formats** relevant to the brand’s industry.
- Generate **multiple creative variants** for experimentation and A/B testing.

- Be **proactive** — if context is missing, ask clarifying questions.
- When using web_search or web_scrape, **summarize insights**, do not copy content directly.
- **Cite your sources** briefly (domain or site name) when referencing external data.
- Use a **professional but approachable** tone.
- Focus on **accuracy, originality, and actionable recommendations**.

Step 3: Configure AI and Tools

In the AI and Tools Tab of an Agent, complete the following fields to define how the Marketing Manager Agent will process and analyze information.

3.1. AI Configuration

  • AI Model: Select gemini-2.5-flash.
    This model is designed for fast and reliable reasoning, ideal for research tasks that require accuracy and structured synthesis of results.
  • Reasoning Strategy: Set Chain of Thought. This strategy allows the Agent to perform complex reasoning by generating intermediate thinking steps, which improves the quality of its conclusions.
  • Creativity Level: Set 0.7 to maintain predictable and consistent outputs during research tasks.
  • Max Tokens: Define 16,000 to allow the Agent to produce engaging, expressive, and original insights.
  • Max Runs: Set 5 to control the maximum number of iterations the Agent can execute during a task.

3.2. Tools and Agents

Add the following tools to enable the Marketing Manager Agent to access, retrieve, and process information efficiently from both web and scientific sources:

Step 4: Test and publish your Agent

After clicking on Create Agent, a confirmation message will appear, and new options will be displayed in the bottom-right corner of the screen. Click on Run Test to verify that the Marketing Manager Agent behaves as expected.

Once the Agent has been tested and its responses are correct, click on Publish to make it available in the Workspace as an Assistant.
