Metadata

Metadata is a section within System that groups internal maintenance and data-initialization utilities used by platform administrators.

To access this section, go to Console Menu > System > Metadata. It's visible only to users with the System administrator role.

The utilities are organized into the following categories:

• Other
• Request utils
• Utils to delete data
• AI Station
• GAM Roles and Permissions Initialization
• To apply when the new version is released in existing environments (Deprecated)
• Data retrieval

Other

This category groups utilities that don't belong to a specific functional area, such as data population, migration, and diagnostic tools.

• Populate System Parameters (Deprecated): Loads the environment with the platform's default set of System Parameters.
• Populate Profiles: Loads the environment with the platform's default set of user profiles.
• Start Migration Process: Triggers the data migration process for the current environment.
• Compare Project Access for Each User Btw Schemas: Identifies inconsistencies in each user's Project access when compared across schemas.
• Check User Roles vs New Structures: Validates existing user roles against the platform's updated role structures.
• Update SearchProfile to Documents: Refreshes the search profile linked to existing documents.
• Get Assistants with Unscape Problems: Lists Assistants affected by character-unescaping issues so you can identify and correct them.
• Memory Usage: Displays current memory consumption. Includes an email field and buttons to send test notifications:

• Check Duplicated Organization Name: Scans the environment for Organizations that share the same name.
• Run Migration: Rename Duplicated Orgs: Automatically renames the Organizations found to share the same name.
• Check Quota Integrity Btw Orgs and Projs: Validates that quota values match between Organizations and their Projects, and displays the outcome in the Result box.
• Clean Result Content: Removes the content currently shown in the Result box.
• Create Freetrial Agents in the Current Project: Adds the standard set of free-trial Agents to the Project you're currently working in.
• Migrate Language Format from ISO639-3 to ISO639-1: Updates stored language codes so they follow the ISO639-1 format instead of ISO639-3.
• Set All Parameters as Sensitive: Flags every existing Parameter in the environment as sensitive.
• Cleanup Trial Request: Removes trial data associated with the address you enter in Email to cleanup.
• Preview Convert Assistant to Agent and Convert Assistant to Agent: The preview shows how the Assistant identified by Assistant Id would look as an Agent, displayed in Export Json Preview. Running the conversion applies that change permanently.

Request utils

These utilities let you manage cost calculation and processing for Requests.

• Request cost recalculation: Reprocesses and updates the cost associated with existing Requests.
• Ensure Request Email: Verifies that a Request has an associated email address and assigns one if it's missing.
• Reprocess Requests and load summary table: Recalculates and reloads the summary table metrics that populate the Dashboard, Usage Dashboard, and Adoption Dashboard.

Utils to delete data

These utilities let you permanently delete records such as Projects, Providers, RAG Assistants, quotas, and Parameters.

• Util to delete projects (hard): Identifies Projects that share the same Project Id and permanently removes the one you specify using Organization Id and Project Id.
• Util to delete providers (hard): Permanently removes the provider identified by Provider name.
• Util to clean a RAG assistant (hard): Permanently removes the RAG Assistant you identify with Organization, Project Id, and RAG.
• Util to clean RAG history window: Clears the conversation history stored for the RAG you identify with Organization, Project, and RAG Name. Select Only Count? to preview how many records would be affected instead of deleting them.
• Util to delete quotas by Project: Removes quota records for the Project identified by Organization Id and Project Id. A separate Cleanup action removes quotas left over from Projects that no longer exist.
• Util to clean Parameters: Flags Parameters that are deprecated or duplicated so you can review them before deletion.

AI Station

These utilities support maintenance tasks specific to Agentic Hub - Discover.

• Station - Taxonomy Migration: Updates taxonomies to version 2, either across every Organization or for a single one you select.
• Conversation Message File FileId Fix: Corrects the FileId reference stored on conversation message files.
• Initialize Station Roles: Sets up the roles Station relies on by default.

GAM Roles and Permissions Initialization

These utilities let you retrieve and initialize the roles and permissions managed by GeneXus Access Manager (GAM) across platform applications.

• Get GAM Roles / Permissions (JSON): Exports GAM roles and permissions as JSON. You can limit the output to roles data only or to general permissions only.
• Initialize GAM Roles and Permissions (using static DP): Loads GAM roles and permissions from a predefined static data source.
• Initialize GAM Application Playground, Magnifai, Design Agent, and Glob.AI OS: Sets up GAM roles and permissions individually for the Playground, Magnifai, Design Agent, and Glob.AI OS applications.
• GAM Result: Displays the output of the action you ran, such as the exported JSON or the result of an initialization process.
• Clean Result Content: Clears the content displayed in the GAM Result field.
• Initialize GAM Menu Hub and Permissions: Configures the GAM menu hub along with its associated permissions.

To apply when the new version is released in existing environments (Deprecated)

This deprecated category grouped the utilities administrators applied after upgrading existing environments to a new platform version. A reminder on this panel notes: "Don't forget to update GAM Permissions!"

• Initialize ApiToken Scope to Project: Assigns Project-level scope to existing API Tokens.
• Apply Assistants Normalization (type and status for deleted and hidden, visibility): Standardizes the type, status, and visibility values for Assistants that are deleted or hidden.
• Initialize Search Index Profile's Status to Enabled (only nulls): Sets search index profiles to Enabled, limited to those whose status is currently empty.
• Initialize ProviderTypes to LLM: Assigns the LLM type to providers where none is currently set.
• Check and Ensure Deleted Projects Integrity: Reviews deleted Projects and repairs any related data inconsistencies it finds.
• Raw RAG Assistants and Document Store Values: Retrieves the underlying stored values for RAG Assistants and document stores, useful for troubleshooting.

Data retrieval

This utility lets you search for raw data by Id.

1. Enter the identifier you want to search for in Id to search.
2. Select the entity type in Look for (for example, Assistants).
3. Click Search to display the result.
