System Modules manages the installation, update, and configuration of the modules available in the platform.

You can access System Modules under System in the Console Menu. This section is visible only to users with the System administrator role.

ModuleInstall

This section is organized into two tabs: Available Modules and Remote Modules.

Available Modules

The Available Modules tab lists every module that can be installed in the platform, each shown as a card with its name, revision number, and a short description.

A card shows an UPDATE AVAILABLE label when a newer revision exists for an already installed module, and a REMOTE MODULE label when the module comes from a remote source; in that case, the card also shows the URL where the module definition is hosted.

Depending on the module's state, its card includes some of the following actions:

  • REINSTALL or UPDATE: Installs the module, or updates an installed module to its latest available revision.
  • INSTALL: Installs a Remote Module that hasn't been installed yet.
  • CONFIGURE: Opens the module's configuration.
  • EDIT: Opens the module's own definition, with fields such as:
    • Id
    • Name
    • Description
    • Auto Install
    • Auto Update
    • Install Date
    • JSON Definition (the module's raw definition, including its Parameters and Tool Plugins)
    • Revision
    • Type
    • URL
    • Status
    • Priority
    • Log Output
Click UPDATE to save changes, or Delete to remove the module.
  • View log: Opens Module log output (last execution), showing when the module was last executed (Executed on) and the step-by-step log of that execution, such as the roles and permissions applied in GAM.

Remote Modules

The Remote Modules tab lets you install a remote module from an external URL. Enter the URL in Remote Module URL, and click ADD.
